Key Initiatives:

• Provide a key link to a mobile industry that is vital to the recovery of Ireland Inc.  Mobile has been a key industry enabler/facilitator in bridging the digital divide and mobile Web offers the next phase in technology adoption.  Ireland already has one of the highest usage statistics for mobile and mobile Web.  Having the finger on the pulse of this high growth industry places Ireland centre stage in the world arena.
  
• Be a strong advocate in provision of a strategic digital strategy – Digital 21 is a wonderful initiative but we need to be more ‘targeted’ regarding Ireland’s global positioning ‘what do we want to be famous for’?
• As a practitioner in non technical and technical global brand development, I will bridge the technology gap that places mobility and the mobile Web at the cutting edge of business development and growth
• Be a link between the IIA and other leading Global mobile development associations and agencies e.g. GSMA, MMA
• Work with global and local parties to educate and drive awareness of mobile Web as a burgeoning opportunity for IIA members
